Some useful commands to change date/time/locale:
Configure localization:
Code:
dpkg-reconfigure tzdata
Manually change date/time
Code:
date --set 2007-10-15
=> to set date (yyyy-mm-dd format)
date --set 16:47:30
=> to set time (hh:mm:ss format)
NTP (Network Time Protocol)
Code:
apt-get install ntpdate
/etc/network/if-up.d/ntpdate
OR
ntpdate pool.ntp.org
