Remote desktop access (VNC) is disabled on Ubuntu by default.
In order to enable remote desktop, follow the steps below:
1. Click System -> Preferences -> Remote Desktop
2. Check 'Allow other users to view your desktop from 'Sharing'
3. Check 'Require the user to enter this password' from 'Security' then enter password.
4. Download VNC viewer such as UltraVNC (http://www.uvnc.com) and connect to your Ubuntu machine
